Yep cars, trains, plans etc... do crash, well.done for pointing that out. Problem is not as often and ridiculously as Uber. Then there's the assaults etc...
As long my as some pissed up cunt who's spent half their wages on booze can get a cheap fare home it's all okay though. Fuck the taxpayer, fuck safety regs, fuck working regulations, it's all good unit.

Neither of those things would bother me in the slightest, if they were true.

I’m a big fan of how they clog up the city’s roads by driving at 5mph. Also, who cant help but be enamoured by the cheeky way they ever across lanes because their satnav has put them on a course through the Blackwall tunnel when in reality they wanted to go to East Ham from Stratford.

Come on Steve, you can't be giving positive Uber experiences, Brentford Rd has had too many bad experiences from a service he doesn't use for yours to be true.

Used them in Paris. Superb. Hadn't a clue really where I needed to be and in under 5 minutes he found me.

Eerie Indecent has given exemplary service and 100% satisfaction to uber drivers over 100 times by sucking them off at the end of every journey

Re: Uber taxi
The black cab that mounted the pavement in Covent Garden last week was a Luton plated taxi, it had no green identifiers on display either, so 100% out of town cab, either dropping someone from Luton or working for uber like so many out of town taxis do.

Re: Uber taxi
Brentford, not going to mention the black cab that mounted pavement in Covent Garden last week? 20 something year old had to have a leg amputated but it's ok as only Uber drivers have accidents!!!

The not licenced, not insured , can't drive argument is so boring now....and utterly ridiculous.

Have a look at the amount of accidents are caused by black cabs before spouting nonsense.

The word Taxi should never be connected with Uber or any other minicab outfit. There are legal guidelines as to which type of vehicle can be called a Taxi.

Re: Uber taxi
Uber won't be able to report all their revenues in Amsterdam for much longer- there's an OECD directive called BEPS which deals with Transfer Pricing and Country by Country tax reporting- I used to sell software at Oracle to deal with this - ironically Oracle, Microsoft, Apple snd others report in Dublin for tax reasons. Comes into effect next year.

If I'm at home I use my local taxi firm mostly as I live right next to a Central Line station and the cab office is 20 seconds walk from my flat, I've used them for over 30 years, but I reckon alot of them drive for Uber as well

Had nothing but exemplary service, probably used them about 100 times.

100% satisfaction from a service is rare, so I'm proper happy with that, bad lines to those of you that have had different experiences. Although I'm not sure how that's the case when you claim to not use it.

Re: Uber taxi
As soon as you see one of those Primus cars you give it a wide berth, knowing the Asian driver will cut you up, or do a random dodgy manoeuvre!! Sure they all drive using the same driving licence!!
And I really would not be happy putting a young drunk girl in a Uber cab!! All look shifty!!

How fat and lazy must your missus be not to walk 500metres

Alfs 2:21 Sat Nov 11
Re: Uber taxi
I dearly wish that Uber would come to Oxford and the surrounding towns. The taxis charge a fucking fortune. For example, the missus was wearing some ridiculously high heels and felt that she couldn't manage the 500-meter walk home. It was raining too. She only had a fiver on her, thinking that would be enough. After 400 meters she saw the clock hit a fiver so said that's all she had but it's just at the end of the road.

The cunt stopped, took her fiver and made her walk the next 100 meters. She then watched as he continued up the road to the mini roundabout (which is right next to our flat), to turn around.

Re: Uber taxi
Ive used uber a number of times. Every now and then you get an ok driver. Most of the time they ever cancel or haven’t got a clue where it is you want to go.
Had a black cab driver tell me all kinds of Bollocks about uber, so I decided to do some looking into them.
I found that:
We only pay 49% of the fare, uber investors pay the rest. That can’t last forever. At some point they will want a return on their investment.
Uber don’t pay VAT even though it is obvious that they should.
They pay next to no business tax.
Most of their drivers are on in work benifits coz they earn less then minimum wage.
Uber drivers are accused of a massive number of rapes and sexual assaults.
Uber drivers are involved in a large number of accidents everday.
Uber now have to treat drivers as employees so have to pay sickness and holiday pay.
All these things added up mean uber prices will 100% have to increase massively, that’s if they decide to stay around.

Re: Uber taxi
I get Uber whenever I can now. If for any reason I can't get an Uber, I'd only get a black can if it was definitely too far to walk it.

As for those who wouldn't use Uber because they price-surge, why not use Uber all the time and then when the prices go up use a black cab? You'd have to be especially thick to deliberately pay too much all the time to avoid paying too much at selected times.
